Having started out as a Manchester student band back in 2005 Moriarti have built their sound on short sharp and loud, alt rock songs with an emphasis on catchy hooks and a powerful guitar/bass/drums combination. The sound is more crunchy than truly heavy, with melody and tunefulness melded with an often fast and furious rock sound.

As a live act Moriarti are energetic, passionate and memorable. With a sound similar to the catchy raw melody of the Foo Fighters and the powerful anthemic rock of Kings of Leon.
